We applied a meticulous cleaning and surface preparation process on the weary, damaged cast iron fences produced towards the end of the 1800's. In the following step we used our Thermal Metal Spray equipment to form the aluminium coat granting long anti-corrosive lifespan requested by our client. We provided additional paint coats to further extend the lifespan.

It was an honor to handle and treat the iron castings, facing the Danubia, produced in the foundry of Antal Oetl starting in the 1860's. The cleaning work was made difficult by the various paint residues applied to the surface in last 150 years.

In order to achieve the required, long lasting anti-corrosive lifespan we utilized the metallisation process to provide 150-300 microns of aluminium coating in accordance with the supervision of the local heritage protection authorities.

The Thermal Metal Spray Aluminium process is demonstrated on the photo above.
